Your role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control and screening procedures. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related screening procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with inquiries and directions as needed.
Help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas by monitoring entry and exit points within the logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Prepare accurate and detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
