As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations to help create a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine foot patrols and remain visible throughout the site. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication.   • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter undesirable activity.
  • Monitor for and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or conditions within the logistics and distribution environment.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
  • Support access control measures by observing entrances and exits and verifying authorized personnel when required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
