As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly with associates and visitors, and respond to concerns with professionalism and customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to client representatives, employees, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution and retail support location, including exterior perimeter areas, parking areas, and loading dock zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor for unusual activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and help to deter issues through high-visibility presence, professional communication, and timely notification to site contacts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, medical events, and property-related concerns.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
