Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain orderly flow of personnel and vehicles at the logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related issues and support operational needs at the location.
