About The Position

As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Attendant in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries related to access control and site navigation.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities in accordance with company and client policies.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.
