Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Being at least 21 years of age is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain access control procedures by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles within the logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with directions and information related to site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response protocols when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or breaches.
Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, and/or unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address access control issues and maintain a secure environment.
