About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operator in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor security-related systems, coordinate responses to calls for service, and support officers on post with clear, calm communication. You will help maintain access control, track activity using computer and/or tablet tools, and provide professional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Operate a dispatch or communications center by monitoring alarms, cameras, and other systems; answering phones and/or radios; and routing calls for service to on-site personnel and/or local responders as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, prioritizing events, and coordinating appropriate notifications and response.
Maintain accurate logs and reports for incidents, dispatch activity, and system checks, escalating concerns through the designated chain of command.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
