Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will monitor alarm panels, coordinate communications, and support routine patrols, all while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Operate dispatch systems to communicate with security-related personnel and coordinate response activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of calls, incidents, and communications for the location.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support security-related operations by relaying information and instructions to on-site personnel.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining awareness of surroundings and reporting suspicious behavior.
