As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations Desk in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor alarm panels, manage access control systems, and communicate with team members to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
- Monitor and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner from the dispatch post.
- Operate communication systems to coordinate security-related activities and assist with emergency response when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all incidents, calls, and dispatch activities as required by site protocols.
- Communicate with on-site personnel to relay important information and coordinate response efforts.
- Support security-related operations by monitoring surveillance equipment and/or alarm systems.
- Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining an active presence at the dispatch post.
- Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related concerns within the commercial real estate environment.
