About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Driver Chemical in Cantonment, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in overseeing security-related operations at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. You will monitor and coordinate activities, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while remaining highly visible. Your strong communication skills and commitment to customer service will contribute to a positive environment. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated team.

Requirements

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post to support security-related operations within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Coordinate and dispatch security personnel in response to incidents, alarms, or requests for assistance, maintaining clear and accurate communication at all times.
  • Document and log all incidents, activities, and communications as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Assist in monitoring surveillance systems and/or access control systems to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
  • Communicate important information and updates to relevant personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
