As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, data hall perimeters, parking areas, loading zones, and critical infrastructure spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, badge access activity, and video surveillance, and assist with visitor management and delivery verification in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, suspicious activity, and equipment alarms, and escalate to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and daily operations in written logs and reports, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers to support continuity of operations.
