As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and high-visibility presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and document activity using site procedures. You will communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and support operations with professionalism. Requirements

  • Maintain an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry points by checking credentials, verifying authorization to access controlled areas, and directing visitors according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Document patrols, access activity, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate noteworthy observations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
