About The Position
As a Security Officer - Defense Dispatch Security Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities while providing outstanding customer service. You will help to deter incidents through routine patrols and by maintaining a visible presence. Requirements
- Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate response activities as needed.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with site-specific procedures and access control requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all activities, incidents, and communications within the dispatch area.
- Communicate with on-site security-related personnel to relay information and updates regarding incidents or requests for assistance.
- Assist in implementing emergency response procedures when appropriate, including coordination with external agencies as directed.
- Conduct periodic checks of security-related systems and equipment to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
- Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional tasks as assigned, in accordance with site-specific policies.
