About The Position

As a Security Officer - Defense Clearance Patrol in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents and daily activities as required.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site policies.
Assist in maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
