About The Position

As a Security Officer - Daytime Patrol Rover in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas with a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. You will complete routine patrols, observe and report unusual activity, support access and perimeter checks, and deliver strong customer service and communication with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements at an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor and operate security-related systems and equipment such as CCTV, alarms, radios, and badge or visitor management tools, reporting concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, fires, spills, and/or disruptive behavior, and coordinate notifications to site leadership and emergency services as directed.
  • Document patrols, inspections, and incidents using written reports and log entries, and communicate clearly during shift turnover to support continuity of operations.
