About The Position
As a Security Officer - Daytime Patrol Rover in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas with a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor and operate security-related systems and equipment such as CCTV, alarms, radios, and badge or visitor management tools, reporting concerns per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, fires, spills, and/or disruptive behavior, and coordinate notifications to site leadership and emergency services as directed.
- Document patrols, inspections, and incidents using written reports and log entries, and communicate clearly during shift turnover to support continuity of operations.
