Job Description As a Security Officer - Day Shift Patrol Driver in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist tenants and visitors, communicate clearly with property staff, and support a people-first culture built on integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, building exteriors, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and respond to requests for assistance, including directing visitors, managing deliveries and/or contractor check-in per site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, completing required reports, and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Operate site systems as assigned such as CCTV, access control, and/or alarm panels, and communicate relevant updates to property management and/or local responders as needed.
