Job Description As a Security Officer - Data Center in Henderson, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-tech data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and monitor assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to reports, document activity, and deliver clear, respectful customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors at a technology data center location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, corridors, equipment areas, loading zones, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization for entry, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy violations, and unusual activity to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Complete accurate reports and logs, communicate clearly during shift transitions, and assist with security-related investigations and/or audits as directed.
