About The Position

As a Security Officer - Data Center in Belleville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and following post orders for after-hours access, deliveries, and incident reporting.
