About The Position

As a Security Officer - Data Center in Belleville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a valid driver’s license and follow Allied Universal driver policy requirements as you support multiple areas on-site. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Requires 3 - 5 years of Security/Military experience
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, lobbies, ATM areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or authorization as required by post orders, and direct visitors to appropriate destinations.
  • Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate noteworthy activity to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
