Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Rounds in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and document security-related activity while remaining highly visible to help reduce incidents. You will also assist employees and visitors with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and reporting to site leadership as required.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorization where required, and assist with visitor management and/or delivery processing in accordance with site requirements.
Complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to the oncoming officer and/or site contacts.
