As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols and presence checks, and report security-related concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will support access control, respond to requests, and document activity while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first, always acting with integrity.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a tech, media, and/or telecom location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
Monitor access points, visitor flow, and authorized deliveries and/or service provider activity in accordance with site-specific policies, reporting concerns through the appropriate channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Complete routine logs and reports, including patrol activity, incident details, and unusual observations, and provide clear handoff information during shift changes.
