Job Description As a Security Officer - Bank Perimeter Patrol in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and unusual activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned, assist with visitor and/or vendor check-in, and report access concerns per post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources and/or emergency services when needed.
- Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
