About The Position

As a Security Officer - Data Center Driver in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and media location, including both the business interior and the perimeter.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity and/or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and site information as needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related needs and requests specific to the technology and media environment.
