As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a respected cultural institution, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will support a positive experience for all visitors and staff. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for vehicle patrols as part of your daily responsibilities.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor the premises of the cultural institution, observing for any irregularities and reporting them according to site protocols.
Assist visitors and staff with inquiries and directions, while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
Document and communicate any incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs discovered during patrols.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
