Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Screen individuals and/or belongings entering the cruise operations area according to established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the cruise operations location and perimeter, as required by site procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, guests, and other personnel as needed.
Document incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
