As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated cruise operations areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the cruise operations location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the cruise operations environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner, documenting all security-related activities and incidents.
- Assist with access control procedures for staff, guests, and visitors to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location.
- Remain alert to potential security-related hazards and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
