Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a cruise operations environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to guests and staff. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure while addressing concerns within the cruise operations environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized presence as directed.
- Support the implementation of emergency response protocols and provide assistance during drills or real incidents as required.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to guests and staff as needed.
