About The Position

As a Security Officer - Crisis Response Patrol in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
  • The ability to restrain individuals is required for this hospital site.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for service, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using verbal de-escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as directed.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports and electronic systems, and communicate key information to site leadership and oncoming officers.
