As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and general areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns or emergencies.
Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include assisting with access control, visitor management, and/or support during special events or building emergencies.
