As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic commercial real estate location. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual activity encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification as needed, and maintaining awareness of the flow of individuals within the location.
Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities during emergencies or unusual situations, following established protocols and instructions.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
