About The Position

As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Specialist in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
  • Work closely with property management and Allied Universal personnel to communicate concerns and/or incidents as needed.
  • Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.
