As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Specialist in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence throughout the property, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific instructions.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
Assist with access control by verifying the credentials of individuals entering the premises as required by site-specific policies.
Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences, completing necessary documentation in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and property management staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.
