Security Officer - CRE Lobby Attendant
About The Position
As a Security Officer - CRE Lobby Attendant in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access and helping to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with all guests, and uphold our company values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in every interaction.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
- Assist with visitor management, including verifying identification and issuing visitor badges as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related issues.
- Communicate and collaborate with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal team members as needed.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual occurrences, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with emergency response activities, including following evacuation procedures and providing guidance to occupants during critical situations.
