About The Position

As a Security Officer - Correctional Site Patrol in Fallon, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and people-first culture. Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the government location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any unusual findings.
Observe and report on activities and incidents, documenting details according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or the public while carrying out security-related duties.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Support emergency response protocols, including evacuations or other site-specific procedures, when appropriate.
