Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8 AM - 8 PM
Starting Pay is $21.45 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available
As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location as an armed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a highly visible presence, and assisting with access control and visitor guidance. You will document and report security-related concerns, communicate clearly with teams and site partners, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech and media location.
• Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and visitor management tools; verify identification and direct individuals according to site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations and actions in written reports, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
