Requirements

  • Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, and/or access control activities appropriate for a financial institution location.
  • Monitor entry activity, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining a professional presence in the lobby and reception area.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, provide direction to guests and employees, and support front desk operations with detailed attention to reporting, documentation, and/or phone communications.
  • Observe lobby and reception area activity and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
