Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, stay visible, respond to alarms and/or access concerns, document activity with computer or tablet tools, and deliver clear customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. Requirements

Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have alarm panel experience preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, disturbances, and suspicious activity, and notify site contacts and/or public services as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance and access concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management practices, including verifying identification, issuing temporary badges when directed, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations.
Observe and report unusual conditions such as propped doors, damaged locks, unsecured gates, blocked exits, and malfunctioning lighting, and communicate findings to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Operate and monitor security-related systems as assigned, which may include CCTV, access control, intercoms, and intrusion alarms, and document events per site procedures.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation with accurate details, and maintain logs for alarms, deliveries, and key control as applicable.
Provide assistance during tenant move-ins and move-outs, deliveries, and contractor access by coordinating with site contacts and following established procedures.
Enforce site rules and policies in a professional manner, including parking and after-hours access guidelines, and refer noncompliance to designated site contacts.
Support emergency procedures by assisting with evacuations, establishing controlled areas, and providing information to responding personnel as directed.
