Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment. You will complete routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce incidents, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with courteous communication. Requirements
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, loading docks, and parking areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, contractor check-in, and key and/or badge control per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, disturbances, and service calls.
- Document and report security-related activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site management, and communicate status updates as needed.
