As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver standout customer service while responding to concerns. Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Guard Card/License - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and lobby activity, observe for suspicious behavior, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership.
