As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing clear communication, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage communications for the location, dispatching appropriate personnel in response to incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Receive and document incoming calls, requests, and reports related to security-related matters within the healthcare environment.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel to relay information and instructions during critical situations.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and location management.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch activity, incidents, and communications.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff, visitors, and/or patients regarding security-related matters.
  • Support emergency response activities by communicating with first responders and internal teams as needed.
  • Conduct regular checks of communication equipment to help to deter service interruptions and maintain readiness.
