Job Description As a Security Officer - Construction Site Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to customer needs with clear, professional communication while documenting activity as needed. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Have X-Ray screening experience, preferred.
Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, loading and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations, and complete detailed reports for incidents, patrol activities, and shift turnovers.
Assist with access control and loss prevention support by observing entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, and providing directions and de-escalation support when needed.
