Job Description As a Security Officer - Construction Patrol Driver in Ashville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a cutting-edge technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and documenting actions taken per site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete routine reports and security-related documentation, including shift activity reports, incident reports, and observations from patrol rounds, and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate contacts.
