Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, employees, and guests entering the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
- Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following instructions from Allied Universal and client leadership.
- Support a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities.
