About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Services in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate and residential locations, completing routine rounds, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and documenting observations. You will support access points, respond to concerns with calm communication, and deliver a professional customer service experience for tenants, residents, and visitors. Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, corridors, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and respond to access control needs such as checking credentials, assisting with visitor and/or contractor entry procedures, and reporting suspicious activity per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate status updates to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support special coverage needs such as move-ins, deliveries, and after-hours requests.
