As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential condominium community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident and visitor needs with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, report concerns, and support property rules and access procedures. Bring teamwork and integrity to a caring culture that values being agile, reliable, and innovative.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and community amenities as assigned, assist with guest and vendor verification per site policy, and document access activity as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including resident concerns, disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or property issues, and notify appropriate parties per post orders.
  • Complete security-related reports, activity logs, and incident documentation; communicate observations and shift updates to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts to help support consistent operations.
