As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to situations with a calm, customer-focused approach. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in, and monitoring deliveries and shipments in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documenting, and escalating per policy and coordinating with site leadership and emergency services when needed.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, monitor cameras and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
