About The Position
As a Security Officer Community HOA Rover in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including community amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity within the community, verify authorized access when required, and communicate with residents, visitors, and/or property contacts regarding site rules and security-related concerns.
- Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and relay important information to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated property representatives.
