As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy cultural location, you will conduct routine foot patrols across outdoor areas, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests with directions and questions. You will document observations, communicate clearly with team members and/or local partners, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an outdoor cultural location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of plazas, walkways, restrooms, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by post assignment and weather.
• Monitor activity for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, and take appropriate actions to help to deter incidents while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management during events and coordinating with site representatives and/or local responders as needed.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, communicate clearly via radio and/or phone, and document incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns for follow-up.
