Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with badge verification, sign-in processes, and restricted area observations.
Support Allied Universal standards by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of daily operations, and communicating observations related to security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations.
