About The Position

As a Security Officer - Communications Dispatch Driver in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will coordinate security-related response by monitoring activity, managing radio and phone communications, logging incidents, and guiding officers to priority needs. You will remain visible and service-minded while supporting routine patrol coverage and visitor interactions with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • Have 1 plus years of law enforcement experience or 2 plus years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 plus years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Operate dispatch functions including monitoring alarms, access control notifications, and/or video surveillance systems, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating appropriate responses.
  • Receive and route incoming calls, radio traffic, and/or electronic notifications, documenting incident details, actions taken, and follow-up using required reporting systems.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting on-site personnel and/or management with timely communication and coordination.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter as assigned, noting irregularities and reporting concerns per site procedures.
